Rootlike Technologies, Inc. is a technology consulting firm in Chicago, IL which specializes in providing IT systems and network architecture and implementation services to the media production, broadcast, and educational communities. We work with our partners and clients to develop secure, stable, and documented data network and server infrastructures ranging from large video post-production facilities integrating Digital Asset Management (DAM) and high-speed storage systems into the larger LAN, to custom server and desktop technologies in use at "boutique" production facilities and educational/not-for-profit institutions. Rootlike's goal is to bring secure, professionally run IT systems to creative professionals in support of their work, rather than in opposition to it.
